This is a collection of songs that have inspired my own healing journey and catalyzed in me some magic and some deep movement that asked to come through me. Most of them are traditional or written by others. Some are collaborations or compilations. Some I wrote, and some I wrote part of. They are all a prayer for your wellness and wholeness.

A shared moment of connection with Suzanne Thorniley in Floyd, Virginia one winter led to these offerings of love and healing in Blacksburg in her home and in her community yoga studio the following summer. We organized these events as love offerings to the community and put a microphone up in hopes to catch a few moments that we could share. Simple and sweet. All from love. <3

I offer deep gratitude and reverence to all the musicians and poets who wrote parts or all of these songs. Their generosity and creativity are great blessings in our community and have catalyzed untold healings and miracles. These songs are here now because of them. A huge helping of love and thanks also goes to Dave Fason of Windfall Studios, who mixed and mastered this collection of recordings done with a single mic and a handheld audio recording device. I am amazed at his ability to bring out the authentic quality and presence of my voice, even with the most bare-bones recording equipment and setting.

So much love and thanks go to Suzanne Thorniley who co-created with me, organized and hosted this magical space for community to gather, connect and share moments of healing, transcendence, and release.

Debra Marks was an inspired co-creator of yoga practice and created a beautiful container for healing and release in her leadership of the yoga space while I wove the sound vibrations.

Singing bowls player Kimberly Vest also brought sweet bowl vibrations to Ancient Mother/Return to Love, and a couple other tracks that aren't available here.
